How would you articulate the phrase sphere of influence in Armenian?

Yes. We know those in yerevan are enamored with the word "sphere". They go by that stupid dictionary where it says "shrjan/shrjanak" literally "circle/area" means. I have no idea what the russian word for circle/area is, environment/neigborhood, not that stupid russky "sphere/globe" as in the globe atlas.Yet, we see day after day our so called Armenian media talk about "sphere".
Like in this "sphere" երկրագունդ/world ball?

Have you heard the word tsov used to refer to sphere of influence? Like hong kong is a Angliakan tsov??
