Artist Armine Bozhko Opens First Exhibition In Yerevan
YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)—The first personal exhibition of Armine Bozhko, the daughter of Ukrainian Ambassador to Armenia Alexander Bozhko, was ceremonially opened at the Armenian Society of Cultural Ties with Foreign Countries on October 13.
Armine Bozhko, 23, studies at the Academy of Arts in Ukraine. Armenian subjects have dominated the works of the young artist. She is particularly interested in the images of ordinary people of old Yerevan, Lake Sevan, Zangezur landscapes, the capital of the Siunik area - Goris, where Armine's mother Larisa Karagyozian-Bozhko was born.
The young artist could present only part of her works at the exhibition. The subject of Armenia is evident in more than 20 works on display, though there is also a picture from the series of "The Outskirts of Kiev". Ambassador Alexander Bozhko, the artist's father, said he was proud of his daughter who opened her first personal exhibition in Armenia
