Hello, I would like to know how do you feel about cell phone banking ? Citibank, Bank of America and some other major banks are running a pilot test in order to open up opportunities for phone banking. However, only the existing customers will be able to use the system; the ones that already have relationship with them.

I feel all warm and fuzzy inside about cel phone banking biggrin.gif

I think for me it's basically a matter of getting a browser that's secure enough to do it. Otherwise, the rest is pretty simple since I already have a pretty good internet connection on my phone.

Verizon xv6700 which is basically a PDA with phone options. I recently upgraded the software to windows mobile 6 (WM6).

With Verizon's EVDO data connection and connecting a laptop to the phone using USB, I often get over 600Kbps down and around 120-130Kbps upload. Sometimes the download is a bit faster. With bluetooth connection between the laptop and the phone, it's somewhat slower but still great for most things (WM5 used to lock up in bluetooth so haven't had much of a chance to test wm6).

Yah it's still the same phone. I was reading today that the new 3G (much faster internet data rates) iphones are supposed to go into production by May. Not sure how easy it will be to use them as a modem for a PC though. Knowing Apple, it will probably be really hard to do much with it.
